Joining Forces
The Netherlands has 21 national parks. Each park has its own identity. And together they tell the story of the national parks. There are few places in the world where nature is so diverse within short distances. Nowhere is the interaction between water and land and between nature and humans so clearly present and creatively addressed as here.
Several parties are committed to the national parks. The Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security, Fisheries, and Nature (LVVN) formulates the policy. The parks are represented in the National Parks Foundation (SNP), and the National Parks Bureau (NPB) inspires, connects, and guides national parks in achieving the goals set in the national parks policy.
