During Nature Impact Day on Saturday, October 24, young people can contribute to nature in Zuid-Kennemerland National Park. From nature management to cleaning up beach litter: participants roll up their sleeves and get to know various nature organizations and volunteer groups.

The Nature Impact Day is intended for young people who want to contribute to nature but are not sure where to start. During this day, they discover the possibilities to actively contribute to nature conservation and restoration.

Doing, discovering, and meeting

Instead of long presentations, the focus is on hands-on activities. Young people help with various nature tasks and meet volunteers and professionals who work daily to protect nature and landscapes.

The day not only offers participants the chance to do something concrete for nature but also to meet other involved young people and gain inspiration for future activities.

Collaboration with nature organizations

The Nature Impact Day is an initiative of IVN Nature Education, with support from National Park Zuid-Kennemerland and the province of Noord-Holland. Foundation Duinbehoud, Juttersgeluk, and Natuurmonumenten are also involved.
