The center serves as the park entrance of Hollandse Duinen National Park. Visitors can find information about the history of the Ockenburgh estate, walking and cycling routes, nature reserves, attractions, and restaurants in the area. Volunteers are available to answer questions and provide tips.

Ockenburgh Estate

Ockenburgh Estate is a more than 350-year-old estate of approximately 24 hectares between Loosduinen and Kijkduin in The Hague. The estate is a Natura 2000 area and part of the Hollandse Duinen National Park. Red bats find a spot behind the loose bark of old, dead beeches, and birds like green woodpeckers, treecreepers, stock doves, and nuthatches live there. You can walk, cycle, horseback ride, canoe, and picnic there.
